Galveston welcomes the 7th Annual Red Cat Jazz Festival during Memorial Day weekend 2017.
The event will take place May 25-28 at Mall Of The Mainland.

Also on tap for the weekend, Thursday, a private VIP Reception hosted by the Mayor of Galveston, All-White VIP Party, Gospel Brunch, Legends Awards, Celebrity Golf Classic, Youth Music Workshops, and a Veteran’s Appreciation Breakfast.

All events are hosted by Red Cat Jazz Preservation Society, Inc., a non-profit 501(c ) 3 organization. “The Playboy Jazz Festival in LA is synonymous with Fathers’ Day,” Pink said.

Memorial Day Weekend, May 25-28 2017, Red Cat Jazz Preservation Society and Developer Jerome Karam, new owner of the “Mall Of The Mainland,” in Texas City, will play host, and welcome the Red Cat Jazz Festival to its new home, expect performances by some of the biggest names in jazz including, the legendary Ronnie Laws, Mike Phillips, Marion Meadows, Theresa Grayson and Grammy winner Maurice Brown, Althea Rene’, Kermit Ruffins, Elan Trotman, ‘La La’ Wilson, Joey Sommerville, Michael Ward, and introducing our newest star in the jazz world, Mike Hamilton.
A Sunday morning Gospel Brunch will pay tribute to all American veterans.
